Why Eat Well

The food we eat can have a positive or negative impact on our health.
Eating well can help you to be and to feel healthy and well.
On the flip side, a diet low in essential nutrients and high in unhealthy foods and ingredients will increase your risk of developing heart disease, some cancers, Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney disease, mental health problems and more.
Nutrients are needed by every single cell in your body.
Without essential nutrients the body will struggle to thrive.
Eating well is different to dieting.
It's more of a lifestyle than a short term intervention.
Dieting usually focuses eating less and avoiding certain foods, which immediately leaves you battling with yourself to not eat them whilst thinking about them!
Healthy eating focuses on eating more of the foods that nourish your body. It's a much easier, and much more positive way to eat, and has so many positive health and wellbeing benefits.
